CAIRO – Annual consumer price inflation in Egyptian cities fell to 13.5 percent in July from 14.4 percent in June, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said on Thursday. Egypt has increased fuel, electricity and transport prices over the past two months to help meet the terms of a $ 12 billion IMF loan program signed in late 2016 that includes significant cuts in energy subsidies and tax increases.
