Iraq cuts official sale price of Basra light crude to Asia in September – Al Marsad

Iraq has cut the official sale price of Basra light crude to Asia for September by $ 0.50 from the previous month to reach $ 0.15 per barrel below the average prices offered to the two countries of Oman and Dubai, the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) said on Thursday.

Sumo said in a statement by e-mail that the price of heavy Basra crude was set to Asia for the same month at a discount of 3.15 dollars per barrel from the Amman and Dubai branches.

The official sale price of Basrah Light crude in shipments to North American and South American markets for September was set at $ 0.25 a barrel below the Argos high sulfur index, up from the previous month.

The official price of Kirkuk crude for shipments to the United States was set at $ 0.55 per barrel above the Argus index.

In shipments to Europe, the official sale price of Basrah Light for September fell by $ 0.70 to Brent crude, down from $ 4.80 per barrel, while the official sale price for Kirkuk crude for the same month rose to $ 3.45 without Brent.
