Whilst Sending Syrian Terrorists to Libya, Turkish Defense Minister Says Ankara Will Continue to Provide Advisory Services to GNA Forces – Al Marsad

Hulusi Akar, Turkish Minister of Defence and Chief of the Turkish General Staff announced that his country continues to provide advisory military services to the Government of National Accord (GNA) forces.

[Libya, 23 January 2020] – Speaking to journalists during his attendance of an event organized by Turkey’s missile producer Roketsan on Wednesday, the Turkish Minister of Defence and Chief of the Turkish General Staff said, “there is our training and consulting team which provides the necessary support for our Libyan brothers; we are continuing our military advisory services in Libya.”

Turkey continues to send Syrian terrorists to the cities of Tripoli and Misrata on board of Libyan civil aircraft. The unconstitutional Government of National Accord (GNA) utilizes Libya’s oil revenues to put these mercenaries on lucrative payrolls, enticing them to relocate to Libya after they were fighting with Turkish forces in northern Syria against the Syrian Arab Army in flagrant breach of the recent Berlin Conference on Libya and UN Security Council resolutions on the Libyan conflict.
