Libyan Foreign Ministry Demands Clarification on Tunisian Involvement with Erdogan’s Government Against Libya – Al Marsad

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan government has asked the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for clarification on reports of the involvement of some Tunisian parties with Erdogan’s government against Libya.

According to its media office, the Libyan Foreign Ministry demanded clarifications on the transfer of Tunisians to fight with the militias and terrorists with Turkish support.

The Ministry indicated that Abdulhadi Ibrahim al-Huwaij, Libya’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, sent a letter to Noureddine El-Rai, his Tunisian counterpart, stating that such actions, if true, would seriously affect the security and stability of Libya and Tunisia due to Turkey’s flagrant interference in the Libyan affairs. The Ministry said that Turkey is attempting to destabilize security and stability not only in Libya but also in the Maghreb region.
