Christoph Heusgen: Germany Will Follow Up on Enforcement Arms Embargo on Libya at the UNSC – Al Marsad

Germany’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Christoph Heusgen, said his country will follow up the enforcement of the arms embargo on Libya in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

In a statement to the Al-Jazeera.net website, Heusgen regretted that countries, which had participated in the Berlin conference on the Libyan crisis, now violate the arms ban adopted as part of the outcome of the conference, stressing that the stability of Libya is a priority for Germany and its European partners.
