Russian Energy Minister: OPEC+ Will Monitor Oil Production in Libya – Al Marsad

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak announced that “OPEC+” will monitor the level of oil production in Libya in the same way it monitors production levels in other countries.

(Libya, 9 June 2020) – Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak responded to a question by a reporter on whether the conditions for oil production in Libya will change upon the resumption of production, according to the Russian Sputnik news agency, saying, “I think this issue will be monitored within the framework of our common stances in all countries and not only in Libya.”

It is noteworthy that OPEC+ countries agreed at their meeting last Saturday to extend oil production cuts for one month.
