Al-Hweij and Bourita Agree to Reopen the Moroccan Consulate in Benghazi – Al Marsad

Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, received on Monday the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Libyan government, Abdulhadi Al-Hweij.

(Libya, 28 June 2020) – According to the press office of the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers reviewed the latest field and political developments in Libya and stressed that the solution to the crisis in Libya must be Libyan.

The two ministers also discussed means to develop bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and agreed that the Moroccan Consulate in Benghazi would resume its work after appointing a Consul.
