Khaled Najm: Al-Aradi’s Participation in Tunisia’s Dialogue is Ominous – Al Marsad

The former Minister of Culture in the Libyan government, Khaled Najm, has warned against the participation of the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, the founding member of the Justice and Construction Party (JCP), the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, Abdul Razzaq Al-Aradi, in the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) announced by the UN Support Mission in Libya on Sunday.

(Libya, 26 October 2020) – Khaled Najm, in a post on his Facebook page yesterday, Sunday, accused al-Aradi of corrupting the political scene, being the first to put forward the political isolation law in the Transitional Council in July 2011, and controversy and quarrel ensued with former Transitional Council member Fathi al-Bajah who rejected it. On the instructions of Mustafa Abdel-Jalil, the Council’s president, the file was transferred to the General National Congress (GNC).

He added, “Al-Aradi has always upset any entity he joined. He was the first to sow troubles in the Transitional Council at the time and spoil the scene at the beginning of February.”

“Al-Aradi inserted Article 30 in the Constitutional Declaration, which has been plaguing us so far. He also deceived the members of the Transitional Committee as regards the issues of the Army and the Executive Office,” concluded Najm.
