Turkish Contractors Association: Completion of Stalled Projects in Libya Will Revive Turkish Contracting Industry – Al Marsad

The head of the Turkish Contractors Association (TCA), Mithat Yenigün, said that Turkish contracting companies can revise the industry in Turkey by completing stalled projects in Libya and bringing effective solutions.

(Libya, 4 January 2021) – In a statement to Anadolu Agency on Sunday, commenting on outstanding projects for Turkish contracting companies in countries such as Libya, the Arabian Gulf and Iraq, Mithat Yenigün said: “We had the opportunity to express these ideas in a meeting of Turkish businessmen with the Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi in Ankara on 17 December. Likewise, Turkish contracting companies can find the best and most effective solutions in Libya.”

“We are trying to overcome the effects of COVID-19 crisis and the uncertainty that dominates the global markets, and we continue to work outside the country to reach the level of US$20 billion annual volume of overseas projects, and protect the status of the Turkish contracting sector,” Yenigün added.
