Al-Falah: Al-Menfi’s Visit to the East Was an Effort to End Divisions in Libya – Al Marsad

The head of the Libyan Organization for Political Development, Jamal Al-Falah, said that the visit of Mohamed al-Menfi, the new LPDF-appointed President of the Presidency Council, to Benghazi and Tobruk was aimed at reuniting and ending the divisions in the country.

(Libya, 14 February 2021) – In a statement to Al-Ghad TV on Saturday, Jamal Al-Falah said that the new Libyan government would be a national unity government, with reconciliation being the first concern of the new presidential council.

Al-Falah indicated that the military institution faced many challenges and obstacles, which prompted al-Menfi to support the efforts of the 5+5 Joint Military commission on the unification of the security and military institutions.

“Libyans are suffering immeasurably from high prices, the deteriorating economic situation, and the repercussions of COVID-19, all of which are eroding state institutions from within.”

Al-Falah called for uniting to support the efforts of the military institution to achieve relative security stability in Libya.
