Al-Menfi and Al-Koni Discuss Bilateral Cooperation with Russian Diplomat

The new President of the Presidency Council, Mohamed al-Menfi, discussed with the Acting Head of the Russian Diplomatic Mission in Libya Jamshid Poltayev, joint cooperation and enhancing bilateral relations between Libya and Russia.

(LIBYA, 3 March 2021) – President Mohamed al-Menfi was accompanied at the meeting by his deputy Musa Al-Koni, in the capital, Tripoli, reviewed with the Russian diplomat several key issues between both countries.

Jamshid Poltayev conveyed congratulations from Russian President Vladimir Putin and the government of Russia to the Presidency Council members and the new interim government on the occasion of their election to the new executive authority in Libya.
