Al-Menfi Receives Invitation from Tebboune to Visit Algeria – Al Marsad

The Chairman of the Presidential Council Mohamed al-Menfi discussed with Algerian Minister of the Interior, Kamal Beljud, and Sabri Boukadoum, the Algerian Foreign Minister, ways to strengthen brotherly relations between the two countries.

(Libya, 20 April 2021) – Information Office of the Head of the Presidential Council issued a statement indicating that the chairman of the Presidential Council, Mohamed al-Menfi, stressed the depth of fraternal relations between Libya and Algeria, and the Libyan side’s keenness to enhance cooperation in various fields with Algerians. He also appreciating their role in the country’s security and stability.

Al-Menfi stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations, while the Algerian Prime Minister Sabri Boukadoum conveyed the congratulations of the Algerian President to the Head of the Presidential Council on being granted confidence by the Libyan Parliament. He also confirmed Algeria’s keenness on achieving security and stability in Libya and its permanent readiness to play any positive role for a safe Libya.

Boukadoum offered an invitation from the President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to al-Menfi to visit Algeria. Al-Menfi welcomed this invitation and intends to visit soon.
