Yassin: Removal of Turkish Forces Would Herald End of Muslim Brotherhood in Libya – Al Marsad

The head of the Libyan Council for International Relations, Adel Yassin, said that the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the interim Government of National Unity (GNU), Najla Al-Mangoush, worried the Muslim Brotherhood organization in general and in Libya in particular.

(Libya, 25 April 2021) – Adel Yassin indicated in a statement on Saturday that the demand to remove the Turkish forces angered the Muslim Brotherhood, whose media platforms have taken aim at the minister.

Yassin also believed that the presence of the Turks in Libya is the only guarantee for the Muslim Brotherhood’s survival in power and its expansion in Libya. He argued that the removal of Turkish forces would herald the end of the Islamist organization in Libya.
