The advisory head of the State Council, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Khaled al-Mishri, expressed his concern over the fires raging in several Turkish regions which are the result of rising temperatures.

(LIBYA, 2 August 2021) – Turkish-loyalist Khaled al-Mishri sent a letter addressed to the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, Mustafa Şentop, expressing his full solidarity with Turkey in the face of the “ordeal.”

Al-Mishri, whose family resides in Istanbul and owns real estate in the country, said: “We send our sincere condolences and sympathy to the leadership and people of the Turkish Republic, asking God for mercy for the victims and to protect Turkey from all evil and harm.”
