HoR and State Council: International Community Must Monitor December Elections

The final statement issued after consultative meeting between delegations of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the advisory State Council in Rabat called on the international community to monitor the elections and ensure respect for its results.

The final statement issue by the consultative meeting said that the meetings were held in cordial conditions, with  understanding and consensus among the country’s partners, and calling on the international community to support the electoral process in the country.

The statement added that this process must be carried out in accordance with agreed laws, and on the basis of the outcomes of the LPDF, as well as ensuring respect for its results through international observers to ensure functioning of the elections.
