LIFG’s Al-Saadi Urges GNU Interior Minister to Investigate Attack Against Mahmoud Abdel Aziz – Al Marsad

Sami al-Saadi, a leading figure of the terrorist organisation the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), and also a member of the radical Islamist cleric Sadiq al-Gharyani’s Dar Al-Iftaa in Tripoli, said that the attack against Mahmoud Abdel Aziz at the polling station yesterday was one of the many indications of the farcical and disdainful attitude by Libyans on issues related to their fate.

Yesterday video footage emerged that showed Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and his son being attacked by Haytham Tajouri’s militia at a polling station in Abu Salim.

Al-Saadi demanded in a post on his official Facebook page that the Minister of Interior opens an investigation into the attack, and do justice to Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and his son by prosecuting the aggressors and revealing the details of the manipulation of voter cards.

“The Libyans will one day know that what Mahmoud Abdel Aziz did is a sacrifice, not for himself, but for the sake of Libya,” said LIFG’s al-Saadi.
