Al-Ghazal: GNU’s Walid Al-Lafi was Head of a Channel that Supported ISIS in Benghazi – Al Marsad

Libyan political analyst and journalist Salem al-Ghazal said that the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, after failing to deliver services and the promises it made, turned his government into a family-run business, and went to the extremist side by making Sadiq al-Gharyani a political ally—given the latter’s influence on terrorist groups and extremists in the country.

Salem Al-Ghazal said that Dbaiba by his decision to allow the radical Islamist cleric Sadiq al-Gharyani to build religious schools, demonstrated his extremist orientation in support of chaos, to cling to power at all costs, and his awareness of Gharyani’s ability to mobilize terrorist groups and militia leaders.

He noted that Dbaiba appointed one of the assets of the terrorist media groups as the head of his media: Walid al-Lafi. Al-Lafi was the head of one of the channels who supported terrorist groups loyal to the terrorist organization ISIS in Benghazi.

Al-Ghazal said: “With these steps, Dbaiba revealed his true face, that he seeks to sow division, and reintroduce war among the people of the one nation, and he must be stopped so that we do not go back to square one.”
